Kick Oh – Hold Me (Jackknife Records) When you think of UKG generally speaking, bar a few exceptions you will be talking about music from the British Isles. Not however if you’re the owner of Bristol based label Jackknife Records. CEO Calvertron has pulled in Italian producer Kikko Martini to dish the dirt and deliver a disgusting MAARS –Pump up the volume-esque fidget monster. Adding, up and coming Japanese selector, Ajapai in to the equation, to cook up a lushly gritty dubstep bassline morsel really makes for a tasty treat. Whilst not forgetting Calv’s own belter of a mix. Truly International!
